Fall Fashion - Headwraps

This fall, I've seen many headbands with glittery leaves on them, or simply a floral pattern. I liked these, but decided I wanted something a little more unique.
When I found out that my mom was making these ADORABLE head wraps, I decided I had to share them with you! They are so perfect for any day, any season. They wrap around your head once, and then another time, the fabric crossing over itself.

NEW Turban Twist Headband - Turquoise Blue and Black Stripe

I love how these headbands look edgy and cute. This head wrap is called a 'Turban Twist'. If you are interested in buying these headbands, CLICK HERE!!!!!

Hi! This is kind of a spinoff of Jacey's last post, but I've also gotten super into Polyvore and I wanted to share my newest designs with you! Here's the link: Also, this is my mom's account, so don't think that I've been on Polyvore for 6 years, I've actually been designing on the site for only... well, about half of that. Hope you like it!

(Oops, almost forgot! I'm turning 12 in 10 days!!!)

Back to School (Kind of...)

For most of us, school started 11 days ago. And neither Jacey nor I decided to do a Back to School Fashion post!! What?! So here I am, suggesting some styles for going back to school! I actually made a Polyvore template: for those of you who don't know what Polyvore is, it's a website for people to do interior design, fashion, all that good stuff. So I'll put a link somewhere at the end of this post. :) Some of my essentials for school are: Comfy shoes (no, not bunny slippers), at least one pair of black leggings, jeans, a casual jacket, and obviously NERD SHIRTS!!! :) These are just the kind of style that I usually have, and of course you don't have to follow my advice, but if you don't know what to wear on a school day, go ahead! Copy me! I don't care! Also, here's the Polyvore link:

Futuristic Fashion

Earlier this week I was given an assignment on a book set in future times. That got me thinking again about what everyone will wear then, and I sketched up and idea:

I'm thinking the sleeves would be shimmery, and that the skirt would poof out like a long prom dress, but then be cut of to just above the knee. You may see more futuristic fashion in the near future. :D

Fashion Design Class

Recently, Mellie and I took a fashion design class. It was really cool and we learned a lot of technique. We also learned about how to draw the human fashion face, and how to use watercolor to make skin tones and color clothing. Here are some pieces that I designed, and Mellie's pieces will be posted soon :

I designed a big wedding dress with lots of tulle ruffles lined with silver sequins:
For this I was inspired by the sunset:
                                                Hollywood starlet:

For this project, I was inspired by this purple swatch of fabric:
I did this at home, also being inspired by a piece of fabric from my mom's sewing room:

New Summer Designs

I love this line because of the bright pop of color it gives. You can layer it on top of things, and add accessories to get a totally fresh look! Enjoy the pics!:
